KOMATSU IN THE WORD
Komatsu is the second largest producer of construction and mining machinery in the world. Komatsu engineers and their clients are constantly working on innovative solutions optimizing operators' work, opearing costs and minimizing the negative impact on the environment. Komatsu was the first to introduce the KOMTRAX ™ remote monitoring system to the standard equipment, the first hybrid excavator and in mining applications it was the leader in the introduction of autonomous vehicles - offering the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) with unmanned rigid trucks. The position of a global leader in the technology of using ICT (Information & Commnication Technology) in construction machines is complemented by the fact that Komatsu was the first to introduce in its machines a fully inter-connected 3D system (Intelligent Machine Control - iMC).
Komatsu is also a precursor in the field of 'Smart Construction' - an advanced system integrating a complete set of information from the construction site, using, among others, drones and cameras KomEye, allowing for efficient design and management of advanced construction projects.
